Statistical results presented in this report represent research findings from the Interactive Media Strategies Video Production Professionals research study conducted in the First Quarter of 2012 and from the IMS Enterprise Web Communications Survey, conducted in the First Quarter of 2011.
In the Video Production Professionals online survey, 318 respondents with individual involvement in the creation, editing, management and/or distribution of online video were asked to detail their use, deployment and perceptions of a wide range of video production, editing and distribution technologies, including a wide range of video cameras, video editing tools and publishing software utilized, online video platforms and hosted services, video production volume and spending plans, and optimization strategies deployed.
In the Enterprise Web Communications Survey, 1,002 corporate executives were asked to detail their use, deployment and perceptions of a wide range of Web Communications technologies, including online video, mobile video, social media,
rich media, Web Conferencing and instant messaging.
